The fiscal branch serves as the financial support role for the Ohio Emergency Management Agency. In managing a biennium budget of over $200 million, the branch relies on strong internal controls to provide reliable, accountable, and timely financial services. Some of the responsibilities of the fiscal branch include:

  • Budget planning and monitoring to ensure the sustainability of operations;
  • Federal grant program financial administration;
  • In-house bill payment and purchasing coordination;
  • Invoicing to external customers; and
  • Coordination and support of the financial administration function during times of disaster or activation of the Emergency Operations Center;
